A CALL FOR PARANORMAL ROMANCE

SHORT STORY SUBMISSIONS:

This is a General Call for Paranormal Romance Story Submissions for our upcoming anthology Book: "TWO OF A KIND" which will be published in the first quarter of 2008 and be nationally distributed.

Reading one of our previously published books is your best opportunity to discover what we are looking for.

But in general, we are looking for stories from all branches of Sci-Fi and Fantasy that have a strong "romantic" element.
 

For us Paranormal Romance might involve a sexy female vampire, a handsome man possessed with a curse (perhaps werewolf), a lovely young witch, etc,.  You could also write a passionate sci-fi romance involving androids or those sexy girls from mars (you know the ones with three breasts).  As long as it is a passionate love story involving human and other being we will consider your story. 

Please do not send us another cliché ghost story where man makes love to girl then finds out she's really dead.  We are looking for originality here not something other writers have beat to death already.

Your story must have a strong well thought out plot that will capture your readers attention and well developed rounded characters the readers will fall in love with.

We would like for you to visit our "Pictures Needing Story" Photo Gallery, pick out an image that you like then write a 3500 word story to go with the image.  Although, this is not  a requirement, you can send us a story that does not necessarily go with any of the images in the "Picture Needing a Story" gallery. 

We like our stories to have non-stop action but this also is not a requirement.  We do want a passionate love story with at least one spicy bedroom scene.

Your story has to be believable. 

Story length should be in the 1500 to 3500 word range. 

Do not send us a story longer than 4000 words.

Do not send poetry.

Do not send Ghost stories.

Your story must have a cover letter telling us what your story is about. 

The first page of your story must contain:

1. The name of The Story,

2. Your name, both real and as you wish it published.

3. Your address, both email and physical,

4. A Short Bio

5. A word count. 

6. Number your Pages
